看護における災害サイクルとは、発災から時間の経過とともに必要な医療や看護を提供し、地域社会の復興、備えまでの各段階で必要な対応を考え、次の災害に備える考え方です。
災害サイクルは、超急性期、急性期、亜急性期、慢性期（復旧復興期）、平穏期という5つの段階に分かれます。 変化する医療ニーズを対応できるよう、次の災害への備えをしておきましょう。
